Sirius Risk Services are licensed under the Australian Financial Services Act to deal in general insurance products. All directors are holders of the Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), Certified Insurance Professionals, Senior Associates of the Australian New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance and work full time in the business. All staff who provide advice to clients are accredited under the Act to provide such advice.

Our directors have over 40 years combined experience in the general insurance industry. Since our foundation in 1990, we have been providing services from our Gold Coast Office to businesses all over Australia.

Unlike certain other general insurance brokers, our business is wholly owned by the working directors and no insurance company has a financial interest in our business. We are not obliged or compelled to place any insurance contract with a preferred insurer or group of insurers. We provide our clients with the freedom to choose the most suitable contract available from all insurers with whom we deal on a regular basis, which total over 90 in all.

We are a shareholder of Steadfast Group Limited (Steadfast), which is an Australia Wide General Insurance Marketing Group. On behalf of its members, Steadfast has negotiated special insurance financial products with selected insurers. In general, the cover arranged with these insurers is superior to that available “across the counter”. We are also members of the National Insurance Brokers Association and the Council of Queensland Insurance Brokers who also have special insurance financial products with selected insurers.
